Partners in Impact: 2024–25 Year in Review
At Cal Poly Partners, we believe our impact is defined by more than what we build—it’s seen in the lives we touch, the ideas we help grow and the opportunities we unlock. This year, our work spanned housing, innovation, student experience and more. Together with our campus and community partners, we continued shaping a Cal Poly where everyone can thrive.
Partners in Attainable Housing
We broke ground on Vista Meadows, a new 33-home neighborhood designed exclusively for faculty and staff. We also expanded Cal Poly’s housing footprint with the purchase of Harvest Lofts—bringing online an additional 120 modern apartments. These investments help attract and retain the people who shape student success.

Partners in Progress
Cal Poly Partners transitioned to three new locations to better align with the university’s Accelerated Master Plan. From our new home at Mustang Business Park to Vista Grande and Employee Shared Services, every move was designed to make room for innovation, support and student success.
Partners in Learn by Doing
This year, we supported more than 300 university programs that brought hands-on learning to life. From research labs to ag fields, we amplified experiential learning with purpose-driven support that connects students to real-world challenges.

Partners in Delight
We helped launch 40 autonomous food delivery robots and opened 1901 Kitchen with rotating menus and fresh options. These efforts make dining more convenient and campus life more enjoyable for every Mustang.
Partners in Community
With the transformation of Partners Plaza, we created a vibrant gathering place for students and staff. Recognitions from the American Society of Civil Engineers capped off a year of reimagining how shared spaces can spark connection and pride.

Partners in Economic Development
We opened Tech Park II – welcoming a new wave of research and development – and began construction on 1144 Chorro—expanding Cal Poly’s presence downtown. Our focus remains on fueling innovation and strengthening Central Coast partnerships.
Partners in Values
Through our C.A.R.E. I.S. culture initiative, employees uplifted each other with powerful nominations that reflected accountability, respect, innovation and support. This shared spirit of service is what drives our team forward every day.
